DMCA Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

SlideSaver respects intellectual property. We do not host presentation files; our tool fetches publicly viewable slides on request. If you believe our service is being used to infringe your copyright, contact us and we will act promptly, for example by blocking a specific presentation from being processed.

How to file a notice

Email hello@slidesaver.example with the subject "DMCA notice" and include:

  1. Your name, address, phone and email.
  2. The copyrighted work and the SlideShare URL(s) concerned.
  3. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
  4. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

We review valid notices, usually within 3 working days, and block the reported presentation(s) from our tool. We may also suggest contacting SlideShare directly, which hosts the file.

Counter-notice

If you believe a block was a mistake, send a counter-notice with the same details and an explanation.

Repeat infringers

We may restrict access for anyone who repeatedly misuses the service.
